like, instead of giving me real reasons why she’s suitable for the throne you tell me that all the other kings aren’t perfect too

ok u do realize that “suitable for the throne” is an oxymoron because thinking that you’re entitled to other people’s possessions and have the right to govern their lives without consent immediately makes you a giant asshole
i’m not saying daenerys isn’t an asshole i’m saying she’s the least repugnant asshole for the position
ok i’m glad i’m not the only one who thought that criticism of dany was like. off base
if she was wandering around the desert taking over cities because she wanted some pretty castles and mountains of gold and precious stones then like yeah that would be fucked up conqueror behavior but she wasn’t going to march on yunkai until she found out about the slave industry there and decided that breaking chains wasn’t going to be a one time thing for her
like maybe it’s not the best strategic plan because she’s pissing off a lot of people in smashing the slave trade but i would say that “smash the slave trade” is a pretty good position for a leader to have
she didn’t just see these astapor and yunkai and say hey cool mine now she saw injustice and put an end to it and that makes her very different from the last two leaders of westeros in a very good way

Daenerys walks into every city, says “this is now mine” and if you refuse to give her what she wants she kills you with her dragons. A really suitable queen for the seven kingdoms.
